Common view is that if you have matched fronts and centre thats whats important, rears not so much, although you may want to make sure they're the same load (ie 4 or 8 ohm etc as your mains). I ran mission dipoles with Dynaudio fronts for the last six months, they sounded fine. |

Like PeteintheUK said, it is most important to get your mains and center channel matched for a seamless intergrated system. The rears are mostly effect speakers and any differences will be less noticable. |
