Comments on my speaker setup (good or bad)Father

Go ahead say what you want ... i can take it. ... i had posted this under another thread but i think it got lost in the shuffle ....

I have 4 4.0 marbles, 2 as the mains, (I use a wood 4.0 as a center). The other 2 marbles I have as surround backs. I had a similar problem as you ... .I couldn't put
them directly behind the couch. So I put one in the corner facing the couch and the other directly accross the room facing the the other speaker. You see I have
7.1 setup. I use B&W LM1's high on the wall as the surrounds in the middle of the room and the 2 marbles as surround backs sitting on speaker stands which in
turn are sitting on 5 16 square inch slabs of brick each separated by little squares of carpet. The point here is if you were sitting in the couch facing the front the 2
back 4.0s would be facing directly into your right and left ears. That's what I did although I would of rather had the back 4.0 directly behind me but the next best
thing was to have the on each side of me in my listening position ...
BTW I have both of my subs behind each main.

Man I don't know what it is today .... but I seem to be babbling .... on this forum and not getting any work done ... ha ha
