HELP!!! Martin Logan vs Miragecnb2606
Mar 7, 2001 6:46 PM
Hi,

I am planning to buy a HT system which I have been saving for last 6 months. Now for my speakers I'm pondering over Martin Logan Aerius i with CINEMA center. Or, Mirage OM-5.

But someone has told me that you really have to have a high end separates for ML Aerius i. I'm planning to go with DENON 3801 reciever.

SO I need help to find out if I can go with Aerius-i with DENON 3801 or I should just go with Mirage OM-5s?????

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

OM-5 should be more friendly to your amplification. Dynamic and bipolar Mirage is more suitable for HT than the electrostatic ones, in IMHO.

The Aerius will be more detailed and accurate. But, the Mirage will be easier to drive, have better bass. Regards, Jerry O.
