You know, if it weren't for the fact that they're RADICALLY.oron

... overpriced, I bet a Bose lifestyle system would make a pretty good home-PC multimedia system.
Are you listening with your eyes?nOrded.

Radical design?

Not really. Just applying ancient technology and design
in the modern world.

Have you personally auditioned the nOrh?

If not. How can you tell the B0$5 sounds better?

Not "radical design" I said that they're "radically overpriced".
Even if they were priced reasonably, they wouldn't be really worth it except I thought possibly as a multimedia system because of it's small size and sub/sat configuration.
Are you talking about the nOrh Prism 3.0?no....nOrhed.

$150. - Including AIR-FREIGHT to anywhere on earth.

Hand made cabinet. Exotic, but provened designs to produce some of the best sound (if these are similar to other nOrh's speaker designs.)

I cannot comment on the sound on the 3.0, because I have not auditioned them yet. But based on my own personal experience with other nOrh speakers. They're excellent.

Radically overpriced?

I think not.

To me. A $50. plastic cube/boxed "Multimedia" speaker is a rip-off.

wow.. amazing how one's words can get mistrued. All i was saying in the very first post was that if it weren't for the fact that BOSE lifestyle systems are RADICALLY OVERPRICED, that they would make fairly decent PC-multimedia systems (although never a good HT system).

I have no doubt that the nOrh is quite excellent and for a good price. I was saying nothing about it.

haha... some people don't really take time to read, I guess...

I THINK you can pick up something much better than bose life-style bull$hit for the money you have to pay for it... small or large...

Have you thought about posting something intelligent yourself instead of posting whiny complaints that have nothing to do with this forum? If you read between the norh posts, there's still a lot of good posts in here. And what's wrong with the norh owners getting a little excited about their stuff? Last time I checked, that's the fun with this hobby: enjoying your equipment and sharing your enthusiasm. Nobody's forcing you to read the norh sh!t.

you're right, I didn't read his first reply, but I still wonder why some people insist posting in here when they have nothing to contribute but a negative vibe.

Did he compare norh with the Bose system, or was norh mentioned at all in this post?? I'll bet Barnes eats this sh!t up.

the problem is inherent with the design (not to mention price). The lack of frequency response is just sinful. Now if you are looking for some multimedia speakers, the Prism 3.0s I ordered will be shipping on Monday so I should be able to give first impressions on Saturday. Still waiting on the drum 3.0s and ceramic 4.0s to ship ...
