I looked at their specs etc. Unless I am really missing something, they've thrown some cheap car subs in a box that is WAY to small and call it a sub! Heck, the driver's specs are for a resonance of 40Hz each in a box WAY bigger! They keep saying 1400 watts, but that is just the combined power handling of the four drivers. Where's the amp? I think they're on drugs . . |

"Now let's see...350 Watts times 4 equals....Hey Dude, what's 350 times 4?" Brian Bunge |

| re: Coldplug Subwoofer???? | navid Mar 27, 2001 12:21 PM | | The only problem with this sub is the frequency and we fixed that problem by diving it into two different sets. There are certain ratios that they say a box must be but thats for different kinds of wood. The companies do not use expensive wood so they have to make a box that wouldnt rattle if there was a lot of bass. But we used maple and it is very strong and heavy and costs 20 times more than rafter wood which is what they use. It is made of woodchips and covered with venere. I am sorry if i mislead you with the specs but don't judge it until you hear it. |
