B&W 7 NT's vs Proac 1.5'sksp
Apr 21, 2001 10:25 PM
I have been looking at both these speakers and would like to here from people that have listened to both.
If you have listened to the speakers please tell me what type of music you have listened to and the type of equipmet you have ie. cd player, amp, preamp, cd player and cables.
What do you think of them, are they worth the money? I listen to jazz, and soft rock with some classic rock thrown in for good measure.

thanks
Kevin

I have only listened to the 7s, I have compared them to many speakers (not the others that you are comparing them too), I loved them so much that I am getting a pair. "listen and you will see".

I compared CDM 7NTs with studio 125s. Both are excellent, but to my ears the B&Ws won hands down. I just found them to be more dynamic and somewhat crisper, with greater articulation across the audio spectrum. I listened to Steely Dan (Aja MFSL), Elton John (Tumbleweed Connection MFSL), The Who (Quadrophenia MFSL), and Miles Davis (Kind of Blue)
