I think it depends on what you are going to pair it up with for mains.

These are your 3 current choices in the 300, and 600 series from B&W.

The biggest difference in the 3, is the LCR6, which sports twin 6.5 inch mid-woofs, and the Nautilus tapered tweeter tube. About $500 retail...

The CC6, is still in the 600 series line, but uses twin 4.5 inch mid-woofs, and no tweeter tube. About $350

The LCR3, new to the 300 series, uses twin 4 inch mid-woofs, and the same 1 inch dome as in the 600 series, AND sports the tweeter tube technology. $220, retail.

These are all fine centers, if you have the any 600 series speakers, I would recommend the LCR6, I know its a lot more, but it will be a better match than the CC6....

Now if you are starting a system, you might want to look at the new LCR3, you get so much, for so little. Truely amazing speaker for twice the price.

The only 'con' I have against the CC6, and LCR3, is there is a drop in lower freq response (-3 db @ 80Hz). This is not critical to some, but it does tend to sound like a smaller speaker. Don't get me wrong, vocals and on screen affects are second-to-none, but if you are used to a larger center, you may have a widthdrawl period.

Bang for the buck, LCR3, and 303 make an INCREDIBLE $520 front soundstage.....

Cheers,
Russ

The cc3 are for 300 series of the B&W, while the cc6 for the 600 series. If your using however the 60x for your mains, use LCR6. They're better than the cc6
