Paradigm vs JMLabs - Suggestions?Kent
Apr 23, 2001 2:09 PM
I recently upgraded from Paradigm mini monitors to Monitor 7's for fronts. ADP 350's rears and CC350 center. I really wanted the studio 60. I have not heard the studio 60 but do like their products.

I have a chance to purchase JMLab Cobalt 810's for about $800 new. How do these compare to the Paradigm Studio 60's? Would these match well with the Paradigm center and surrounds? Driving speakers with Denon AVR 4800.

Thanks for the info!

If you step to JM Lab, you step into a whole 'nother league my friend....no real comparision. FOCAL drivers brotha. The Studio 60's are good speaks, but that inverted ceramic dome on the Jm's will be very, very much different.

Anything will be 'acceptable' for now, but long term, I wouldn't match the two up in a system...unless perhaps a JM front stage, and Paradigm rears...

Just my $.02

Cheers,
Russ
