| Subwoofer HELP please | nickandamy4@hotmail.com Apr 24, 2001 10:47 AM | | This is my situation...I have the Klipsch KSW15, Klipsch SB-3's(x4) for home theater, pair of Infinity SM-225's, and the Pioneer VSX-908TX to push it. The SB-3s are on the main A front and the Infinities are on the main B. Reciever can only adjust sound for the main A and with that the sub is very active...but when listening to 2 channel with the Infinities sub is almost silent. Will I get more of a response from the sub by connecting the main B speaker terminals with speaker wire then going to the sub then going to the Infinities. And then just leave the sub cable for the 5.1 connected to the sub from the receiver.
It just seems that when i want to listen to 2 channel music I am really missing something from the KSW15.
I am still kinda new to the whole home theater setup...listen to stereo music very often.
If have any help it would be greatly appreciated.
THANK YOU |

You might try going into your receivers speaker setup menu and manually activate the sub for two channel. Otherwise your idea on using speaker level connections for the sub and infinities on main B, and keeping the .1 LFE connection to the sub, would work fine. |
