What size room do you have? Do you need a sub? What type of receiver do you have? Any preferences for towers or bookshelves? Do you mind getting them from internet only companies or would you rather go through the B&M (brick and morter) stores?

my room is 22 by 14. I was thinking of just leaving my lw-15 sub for now until i get some more money. as far as the reciever is a pioneer 509 which is ok for the 200 dollars i paid. but i plan on getting a denon 4800 or 5800. i would prefer to get towers as my fronts but it isnt a must if you have a good bookshelf-sub combo.and it doesnt matter if i get them over the internet or at actual stores...as long as i can go hear them somewhere before i buy them.

For the money:

SVS 20-39PC (could use the Pioneer or other amp to power dual 20-39CS - $915 or so) - $750
nOrh 4.0 package - $850
Total: $1,600 - $1,765

Ascend Acoustics CBM-170 package w/HSU VTF-2 sub - $1,100

ACI Emeralds - $1,600

Swan Diva 5.1SE - $1,600

nOrh Prism 6.9 video package - $1,800

* Check reviews and email companies to see if anyone in your area has those speakers

Other options:
B&W DM603 S2 - $1,000 (mains)
B&W DM601 S2 - $450 (surrounds)
B&W LCR6 S2B - $500 (center)

It seems like you do all your speaker shopping at Best Buy. I can tell you that JBLs sound a lot clearer than Cerwin Vegas which is important for Home Theater (HT), but for $2000 you need to check out some real HiFi stores. Don't sell yourself short. You can get a real good Paradigm, Def Tech, B&W, or Energy setup for that price (just to name a few). Then you will have great music and HT speakers that are timbre matched. Also, I may be mistaken but I don't think the system you have listed is timbre matched. In other words, you might hear louder sound out of the fronts vs the rears or the sound going from one side to the other might not flow seamlessly.
