So what would be the impact of placing them in a vertical postion? I've read that would change the imaging or something that I didn't really understand. I'm just a casual listener, but enjoy a decent sound. Also, with a bookshelf, what would change if the speakers were positioned horizontally but with both tweeters facing inward or both facing outward? Please don't slam the JBL choice, it's just that I already have the S-Center and N24's and am not ready to upgrade those yet.
