|   Which sub to match Linn Tukans? | kac
Jun 5, 2001 3:31 PM | | For the last year, I've had a pair of Linn Tukans that I'm driving with a Linn Majik amp. I've been extremely impressed with the setup.
However, this past weekend I heard some REL subwoofers and heard what they could do to to some high end floor speakers. I can only imagine what they'd do to my bookshelves.
Any suggestions on which model to match a tukan/majik setup? I've got a small/medium listening room. I'm also using the current setup for some Audio/Video. REL claims that its Q series is catered towards the home theater market.
I was considering a Q150, but also the Strata. Am I limiting myself with either choice? Are there other subs (sunfire) that I should consider in the $1K and lower range? |

It is just as musical as any of the $2000 RELs (Stratus, Storm) for a lot less $ and I liked it better... I think it sets the standard for musical subs under 2K... ---Dave |
