I just purchased a pair of Ohn E's and was curious if the factory upgrades of the second tweeter from the C model and the bass increaser
offers a large improvement? Also does anybody have any thoughts on this model from Ohm?

Sorry man, no Ohm fans around here but me and a guy called "nobody". Few posts that have been made are about Walsh series speakers and nobody answered my question about any of those upgrades either.

Sorry...

The company was originally the maker of the Tech-HiFi house brand. The quality of the speakers was as good as say Olson Electronics. We used to fear everytime we sold a set. We'd tell the customer we wanted to open the equip to run it to assure it was not DOA so we could open the speaker boxes to make sure the drivers wouldn't fall out. I was amazed to find out the company still exists. I wonder how many speakers they actually produce and sell today as a direct sales company.

The Walsh driver was very interesting and showed potential if the company could get the QC up and had the $ to invest in some serious R&D. They were very power hungry and a good countermeasure against the Bose 901. I wonder how the latest interation is?

I wonder as well. I've two set's of Ohm Speakers currently in my home theatre system. I've Ohm Walsh4's in the front and Walsh2's as rear surrounds. Power hungry, light on the bass, at least the Walsh2's are but nice speakers when hooked to the "right" sub and given enough power. I love em and will keep em till I get "an offer I can't refuse".
