He has stated on several ocassions that he finds their prformance very good at their respective price points. All I can add is to audition them and form your own conclusions.

Sep 13, 2001 8:39 PM | | Pioneer Elite speakers are the best speakers from a Japanese receiver maker out there. Not only that they are quite good. They would not be my first choice, but they are good and may be what you are looking for.
I think their speakers are better than their electronics(likely because Pioneer outsources their speakers to a US designer and builder)...with the exception of some DVD players and projection tvs...their dedicated audio products are fair at best. |
