Floorstanding, on small pedestals, 10 woofer 6.5 midrange w/polemounted phase plug, and what I heard most of all, 1.8kHz horn loaded tweeter. Priced at $150 per piece. Any thoughts? |

Sep 13, 2001 7:48 AM | | Then again, I do not particularly care for horns, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I do have a pair of the KX-6 Series 2. They are boomy and unclear. Highly unpleasant for long listening sessions. For your price range look at:

Or you could order either the AR DIY kit or ACI Emerald or Opal kits. With those you will need to build the cabinets but all these should be much better than the DCMs you are currently looking at. |
