I'm having a hard time connecting these speakers to my receiver. It is a Sony STR-SE391. I've used the regular speaker cables that came with the receiver and the small speakers it came with. I've used the same cables and connected them to some banana plugs. The speakers have banana jacks on the back. Is that right, or am I doing something wrong? I don't get much sound from the speakers, and the little I do get is when I turn the volume up almost all the way. Someone please help with a suggestion or instruction. Am I using the wrong speaker wire, or the banana plugs are not connected correctly? |
