| JBL Speakers | May1597 Sep 14, 2001 7:43 AM | | recently purchased a new pair of JBL ND310 (8ohm 250w)(speaker set A)and a new pair of JBL N38 (speaker set B) to go with my new Onkyo TX-DS575X Receiver. I have not used the "A's and "B's at the same time so I know that is not the prob. During DVD play I have a JBL center and Bose 301's for my rear. I also have a 100w MTX "mono-out" sub which is not connected with the JBLs.
My question/problem is at somewhat higher levels I seem to be getting some hissing & cracking from the Tweeter and Mids (during cd and dvd play). The bass is substantial and the polarity is correct. I know they have to "break in" but this does not happen with all play, just certain songs? Have I purchased the wrong speakers for my receiver?
Please let me know your thoughts... |
