JBL PSWD110 powered subBillW

I have a JBL PSWD110 powered sub that began to put out only a loud hum. The volume level of the hum is pretty high. It is plugged in with a two prong outlet so grounding is not an issue. It is only plugged into an AC oultet with no stereo connections but the hum still persists. Any ideas please?

Thanks in advance

Bill

Try selling the sub, i had one of those subs a long time ago and it lasted me 1 month before the amp blew, i suggest you sell it or use it for a rear sub and buy another sub for your main one, there are many great subs out there at a good price, you may whant to take a look at a few.

Sony SA-WM40 - $159 http://etronics.com/
Velodyne CT-100
Klipsch KSW-12
JBL PB-12
Cerwin Vega LW-12
Paradigm PDR-12

those are all great subs at a great price.
good luck
