I don't know about you guys, but it sounded to me like Thomas777 or whatever his name is who posted the disgruntled comments about ACI was previously an employee at some best buy or circuit city who probably just got laid off or something do to the internet companies cutting into their business..

Otherwise, why knock a company that you don't know anything about (or so it seems)

Then again, I'm willing to bet that happens alot on this site

I love everybody! Even a company like ACI who has a whole 6 customers in the world after 25 years. Man, I bet B&W, Theil and the rest of the gang are just a quakin in their booties!
If they're not worried, why are your panties in a knot? ntMarbles

Oh, Marbles you badboy!

Hey, I think I'm proving my point pretty well her. Same 5 or six people jumping to AACYs defence. A couple of them don't even own ACI and think so highly of them they go off on their own tangents. Obviously we have a couple rabid followers/ company employees.
You want a deal? Right at this site thars and ad for Dynaudios at nearly 1/2 off! That is a deal. Why pay ACI list price when you can buy quality stuff like Dynaud for 1/2 off.
You are proving a point...Marbles

You can't spell, your grammer is atrocious and your a moron.

Other than that I don't think you have proven anything.
Thanks for pointing out>>>newJD1

Another reason I frequently recommend ACI. The stuff holds its value much better than most audio brands. Everything I've ever purchased from ACI or recommended for purchase sells for MORE now, not less. Nothing against Dynaudio, I happen to like their sound. But I'd be a bit bummed if I paid full price or close to and then a bit later could have gotten for 1/2 off. Take that cold shower and have a nice day!

Its not B&W and Theil that need be "quakin in their booties", but the B&M store owners that put a 50% markup on all their B&W and Theil speakers. Sorry, but I'd rather my money be spent on speakers, not salesman who generally only mislead.

"Yes sir, you'll need that $1000 interconnect for those Theils to sound as good as they can!"

And i found this quote on the ACI news page. I think they may have more than a few customers.

"We expected the new LE series speakers to be a big hit. What we didn't expect was HOW BIG! In spite of our best plans and increased production, we are running 3-6 week backorders on some of the new cabinets and finishes. We're doing everything we can to catch up but quality can not be compromised. We thank you for your patience . . . they are worth the wait!"

that ties them with Dynaudio. Including myself, there are approx. six regulars that I'm aware of that own the Danes. Must be tough getting past that sixth owner.

Hey Jet, that's including me, right?? :) ntBK

BK, you count for two.:)

Hey, what's up with this heat wave in almost Dec? I'm finding it tough to get in the Holiday spirit with this balmy weather.

Cheers,

Jet
Oh man, Jet I'm feeling the SAME WAY!!!......BK

too funny, I just made this EXACT same comment to my wife yesterday!! I said I just can't get in the Christmas spirit when it's 65 degrees in November!!

Damn, bring on the cold and snow! I really hope we get a nice arctic blast soon, I need it!

Jet, with the way the Danes are goin, better count me as 5! :)

Good to see ya buddy!

Midman you might be right. Sounds like he has some sort of axe to grind. Then again, maybe he's just your basic troll who doesn't have a real reason.
I'll always be an ACI fan. I've loved their stuff for years. Ever since I first heard it at an LA Stereophile show in the early 90s. I've turned a lot of people on to it, probably dozens, and they all love it. (sorry whocareswhoever, a lot more than a handful). Great company, great stuff. I suspect that since they've come out with the LE series, they are making some people very nervous. I'm really looking forward to hearing the new Talisman and Veritas.
This guy's posts show how much of an idiot he is....midfiman

Yup, cuz everyone who knows anything about business knows that a store can stay in business with just 6 customers in 25 years because they each buy 10 pairs of speakers per day. Get real buddy, what's the real reason you're picking on ACI?

FYI, i don't own anything from ACI, i have equipment from B&W, Velodyne, Klipsch, Marantz, and Denon but i'm just trying to figure out why you're making such ignorant comments....

I must be number seven. I've owned ACI speakers for years. I have a Saturn subwoofer I built from a kit and a pair of LV1s I purchased off ebay. I also purchased one of their subwoofer amps and several other tweaks (spikes, speaker wire, etc...). I have a friends who also own ACI speakers, one built a pair of dual-woofer towers, the others bought fully-assembled pairs. All love the speakers and would only upgrade to better ACI speakers. Just so you don't think I have blinders on I also own Legacy Focus w/Silver Screen center channel, T&A P-30 surrounds in one system. I have a mostly all Klipsch system which includes Kg4s, KLF-C7, RS-3 for front and rear surrounds, and the Saturn subwoofer for low-end. Other speakers I own include Infinity, Boston Acoustics, Genesis Genre IIs, and PSB. ACI is a good company with well above average to excellent, well-engineered speakers. Say what you will, but I believe ACI is a good company who provides a quality product at an affordable price. I doubt if they're concerned about contrary opinions.
