| Can a powered SUB be left on? | Hawk Jan 19, 2002 11:58 AM | | I am down to a choice of two receivers, JVC 8010 VBK or Teac AGD 9320. I like both but the JVC has no switched power on back panel. Problem is, my old SUB is a down fire and the on/off switch can't be reached easily. The Teac has a pair of power receptacles. Does it hurt to leave the sub powered all the time or even for a long time because I will almost certainly forget it a lot? Other choice, keep the Teac. Thanks |

Otherwise, unless you're going to be away for an extended period, it won't hurt the sub to be left on. (It may hurt your electric bill though.) |
