Afganistan (assuming that's who is responsible) is very close to Russia and other nations who have outright and will likely outright support any attack that will undoubtedly happen. To use nukes would DESTROY other nations and civilians not even remotely related to these nutcases . . . not to mention the impact that they WOULD have on North America. Once you start using nukes, we better all be prepared to go into undergroud bunkers for about 5 years until the dust and radiation settles to the point that it won't kill you in 30 seconds.
If you start using nukes, we might as well bid farewell as we speak. There are too many nations that would be affected by that decision . . . and I bet most of them have "the bomb" as well.
A coalition should retaliate and strike very hard as soon as we know who did this. You can destroy a nation very easily without taking the rest of the world with it . . . and make no mistake, if a nuke gets used, we will witness the end of the world as we know it. Those newscasts would be much more horendous that what we are watching . . . and that's a very sad statement.
