| Height Limit for Center Channel Speaker? | gladtrix Sep 13, 2001 10:02 AM | | I wish to purchase a entertainment center. The one I am considering would place the bottom of my 8" high PSB Image 9C Center Channel Speaker exactly 74" off the ground (Ultimate height 74" + 8" = 82"). My 36" Television would sit directly below it. Is this too high for for a center channel speaker to be placed for good listening?

| I kinda think so..... | BK Sep 13, 2001 10:05 AM | | that is pretty high up especially considering you will be seated most of the time while listening. What I would do, is get some type of foot, or device, and place it underneath the back side of the 9C, so it aims downward a bit. This should take care of it. Good luck BK |

You will have to experiment with angling the center as BK suggested and see how that works. In addition, adjust the center delay setting as it will likely be positioned considerably further than your mains relative to the listening position.
I would also suggest trying the phathom center setting which could possibly be the best bet in your situation.
