Vienna Acoustics vs othersHi-Phi

I recently listen to Vienna speakers and was overall pleased with their smooth yet detailed sound. I was just curious why not many people post about them and/or review them. How do they compare to others in their price range?
I listened to the Haydn and Bach's (in my price range) and also other brands who make bookshelves and floor standers like Boston Acoutics,Klipsch, Paradigm, NHT, Polk, Infinity, PSB, and a few others. The Vienna's are probably the most musical and pleasing to the ear speakers I have heard for the money. They seem well suited for classical, jazz, and music with plenty of vocals. They may not excel in heavy rock/metal.
Just curious about others opinions on these.
thankyou

I looked at these too. They sounded pretty good compared to definitive technology 3B. The bachs are exactly what I heard. A little expensive at $1500 a pair I think. I am looking at these too.

Please help with suggestions.
They are quite niceTex

However, on the Mozarts I have heard them "whompf" when driven hard, this led my friend to get the Beethoven's. He has a set of those driven by a bryston 9bst and that combination is capable of driving you out of the room, and never get distorted. The Vienna's are extremely amp friendly, and are pretty small to boot.

My personal choice is Vandersteens, but if the size of the speaker were an issue, I'd go with Vienna's.

You're right, Vienna's not a well known name...yet. Sumiko's chosen Tweeter as their primary retailer and with Tweeter's growth around the country, more people are now hearing them and hearing of them. I have a pair of Mozarts on the way in the lovely Beech finish. They'll be mated with my NAD C370 Integrated Amp. I've been living with NHT SuperTwo's for over a year but they're being moved to the HT system. I decided I wanted a sweeter sounding speaker, one that would tame my overly-bright rock recordings yet still give me a nice amount of detail, hence the Vienna/NAD combo.

The Bach's are quite nice at $1500 and the Haydn's perhaps a bit over-priced, since you'll need a subwoofer to fill out the low-end. The Mozarts, while not the Beethovens, do hold their own quite well down to 40Hz and still sound nice down to 30Hz with some tweaking.

I think Vienna Acoustics is a fine company, with some of the most beautifully finished speakers in the world. We'll all be hearing a lot more from them in the future.

Cheers!
BillB
