ENERGY / VERITAS 2.4J. Bret

Anyone own these, or has anyone here had a listen to them?

What little information that I have gathered favors them strongly as a true music enthusiast's kind of speaker system. Apparently they really kick serious A$$!

I am hoping that we can collectively generate some information about them. I am on a mission; I want to hear them. Does anyone else have the same craving?

I currently own the Veritas 2.4. They are very good speakers and it is very hard to find speakers within the same price range that are better. I have been a long time fan of Energy Speakers and other API products. Over the years I have move from Energy 3.1e speakers to the Connoseur (C6) series and now to their Veritas. I still have all the speakers and they all still perform very well. I currently have three systems in my home with the 3 sets of Energy sepakers that I have. Note: the Veritas replaces a set of Martin Logans that I had.. In comparison.. the Martin logans are great speakers when you are listening to the correct type of music ( in my case instrumental) and you are sitting in the sweet spot. Other then that.. the Veritas outperforms the Martin logans hands down...

Just my $0.02

I have the 2.1's, based on their performance, the 2.4's must really be awesome!

Yes, but you had better have a beefy amp and a big room. Pretty ballistic...World class.

I'm personally a bit bigger fan of the 2.3. Easier to drive, easier to use in a normal sized room. Otherwise, same sound except for bass.
