Cardboard tubes work well for subwoofers although
they will roll around in the truck unless fastened to the floor.
A ceramic or cement drain pipe would work too, but both are
heavy and you could get caught when stealing them from a
construction site!
Hsu has a 12" sub driver in a cardboard tube that is not that expensive. I think you'd have to provide the amplifier and
crossover for it. |
