I have a storm ps85 subwoofer,it is my first ever sub.Now on the back I have a crossover dial and a volume dial,a phase switch {norm or rev}. At the moment the sub is right behind my front right speaker due to the fact that the room is pretty small{3.50 metres long and 3.20 metres wide} first, how should I set the dials, the crossover reads 0-low pass-150,the volume reads 0 up to +10, and the phase as I stated earlier have a norm and rev setting.Secondly considering the size of the room where should I place the sub FRONT OR BACK!!I am pleased with the rest of my set up, imaging is good being that the front speakers are slightly toed in,the surround speakers are set to the side of me facing down and slightly in front of my listening position being that I am sitting on the back wall. The sub as I mentioned is behind the front right speaker almost in the corner. So is my set up ok or should I change it ,I am open to suggestions.Hoping someone can help me with my sub and setup problems, thanks.

The crossover setting 0-150 refers to the cutoff frequency for the sub. It basically tells the sub which frequencies in the audio spectrum to play. If you set it to 100 Hz, it will play below 100Hz (roughly).

The volume is all you would think it is. Adjust the volume so that it sounds good along with your main speakers

Room acoustics are weird. Try moving them around and listening. You should put it wherever it sounds best to you.

The phase should probably be set to the norm position. In rev, it may interfear with the bass that your main speakers are producing.

good luck,
