I've bought the components (still waiting on the receiver & DVD to arrive), picked out my component cables (Acoustic Research, about $100 total), but now I need some recommendations on some good wire. My speaker set is the Energy Encore, and I'm planning on wiring the satellites through the walls. I'll also need a sub cable & center. Monster seems great, but with a huge price tag. I'm looking for comparable with a better price tag. What brands should I explore? TIA... |

Speaker wire, in my opinion, is one of those items that has a very quickly downward sloping marginal benefit curve! Buy something good, but be smart too! |
