Jan 19, 2002 8:05 PM | | I have decided to use a sub to handle the lows (30 to 70) to allow my amp & speakers to deal only with the mids & highs.My speakers are bi-wired and I have a 'separates' setup. My question is: which signal path,if either is best; cd to preamp to (sub - line) inputs to amp via interconnect with bi-wire cables to speakers? OR cd to preamp to amp to sub via a single set of speaker wires with the bi-wire set leading to the mains from the output sub speaker terminals. I realize that I am making this all sound very complicated...but it should not be,to any 'informed' audiophile or hobbyist.Thanks to anyone with an opinion. |
