one the best speakers today.

Jan 20, 2002 10:57 AM | | The Dyn's are too analytical and dry sounding for me. The ProAc's are warm and transparent. I'm not saying the Dyn's are bad sounding speakers they're not. They just don't pass the 'chill down my spine' test. I prefer speakers that lean slightly toward the warm side like Meadowlark, Sonus Faber, Vienna Acoustics and Aerial Acoustics to name a few. They just have that relaxed feel to them. I admit that the Dyn's and other speaker sharing similar charateristics do stand out at first but after a while that accuracy and detail become fatiguing. I'm willing to sacrifice a little bit of detail for the extra warmth and musicality. |

Jan 20, 2002 8:21 PM | | Hey Mattheww, well said. People get to caught up in accuracy and detail and forget that when it's all said and done it means nothing if the speakers aren't musical. People throw away $thousands$ on detail and enjoy none of it. |
