Velodyne FSR-12 not workingSchmecky

I've got a just over 2 years old Velodyne FSR-12 Powered Sub. And of course the warranty is 2 years :)

I just was watching a movie tonight, and noticed a lack of woofing.
So I looked at my sub, and no light, no nothing, turned it on/off, not noise at all, and the red power light never came on, checked the connections and all that stuff, no go.

Is there something simple like a fuse or anything else I can/should check before paying someone to look at it?

Also recommendations on where to take it would be great (I'm in the Minneapolis metro area.)

My NHT 2.5i mains do a pretty respectable job of woofing by themselves (had to change the front speaker setting on my receiver to large, and disable woofer), but of course I'd like to use the Velo for more than an $800 foot rest!

Thanks!

a friend had an older Velo and the internal fuse blew...

he took it in but a week and a half later he got it back.

the technicians said the wrong value fuse was in there

they put a new correct fuse in and a year later ...no problems.

If it is out of warranty, I would just remove the rear control panel (4 screws?) and look inside for the fuse (and replace it, but check to make sure it is the correct value).

If it blows immeadiately after you turn it back on

then you probably have some Amp damage and may need to get it serviced...
