They have the world's best tweeter and my Daline 6.1(discontinued) blew away my old Studio 80's.I'd like to hear from others who own speakers from this fine company. |

Jan 20, 2002 8:32 AM | | I'm a HUGE JMLabs fan.. I started off with their Tantal line, and have upgraded through the Opals, and am now running the Electra 905's for my HT setup. Just because I wanted to look to the future when 5.1 and 7.1 really takes off, I went ahead and went 905's all the way around including the center and sub and have blown away everyone that's heard them. The dealer I purchased my TAG McLaren amp and pre/pro from is really into Dyn, and I brought my 905's into compare against the Dyn's.. Until you get up into the REALLY expensive lines, the JMLabs sounded far more musical and cleaner to me. I've always wanted to look a the mini-utopias, but honestly for the extra money, I think the law of diminishing returns really applies here.
JMLabs aren't widely distributed here, but for anyone serious about purchasing speakers in this price range would be foolish not to find a way to audition these.. You'll be absolutely amazed. |

Outstanding speakers...Your experience does not surprise me...you left mid-fi for hi-fi...Those Mezo Utopias are on the horizon...beautiful tweeters...like the Nautilus 801...the upper end JM Labs dissapear into the room. |
