HELP: popping speakersAdamG

I've recently set up a new system: Marants SR-6200 receiver, Marantz CC-3000 CD player, set of Paradigm Legend V.3's.

The problem:
When I switch between TV, CD, DVD, etc, there's a popping noise that comes from both speakers. I have no problems with the speakers while listening to a CD or watching a DVD, it's only when I switch between components.

What's going on? Is it possible that there's some kind of interference? What can I do to make it go away?!

Thanks to those who reply!!!!!!

I think it's just the common channel switching problem.
I heard that poor receivers do have this problem.
To fix it I need to know the technology, but usually it
is something that you have to accept. You won't try to
add a relay into the circuit, right? And I can't imagine
where I could insert capacitors into the circuit. Maybe
what you need to do is just turning the volume down
before switching.
