| Do centre speaker wall mounting brackets exist? | Prodigy Mar 29, 2002 4:48 AM | | Please say that they do!
I can't find any anywhere and I want to mount my centre speaker (Tannoy MXC) just behind my monitor on the wall, slightly above and angle it a bit down. The reason for this is my system doesn't consist of a TV - instead I use a high definition 21" monitor for DVDs, Playstation 2, computer etc. but when I place the centre speaker on top of the monitor and turn up the volume it causes magnetic interference and makes the screen wobble. This will utlimately damage the monitor so I need to get round it.
Mounting seems the only option.
Can anyone point me in the direction of any wall mountings for centre speakers - or might I be able to get away with just a large bookshelf mount? The speaker is 16.5" wide and 7.5" deep.

| Thanks for the links | Prodigy Mar 29, 2002 9:36 AM | | I think I might just buy another pair of front clamping bookshelf mounts and use both of them for the centre - I think it would work! |
