Mar 29, 2002 5:21 PM | | ok, below i posted about my search for paradigm centers and rears....mini monitors were mentioned for surrounds...i was originally considering these. what is the difference sound and function wise between these and the adp surrounds (dipoles)...
i am in college and the mini's are cheaper (big plus).. i am in a dorm room now and will be in small apartments for the next several years....main function of my mains (monitor 7s) is music..though i run all my tv/movies through them. the rears are mainly for movies (dvd)...i have a few 5.1 music dvd's and my end up with dvda/sacd. how do dipoles sound with music? are the mini mons more directional? how about the small room factor?
what are your recommendations/opinions/suggestions/ experiences.
