I need a bit of edjamaction on the differences between the
B&W Nautilus 804 and the 802...i know the price difference..but i'm just needing your two cents on them.is there an v.1 and/or v.2
i'm looking at them used and soon will go put me ear to them (i've heard them both but the price made me deaf) this time i'm going in with open ears so before i do...give me the low down brudda...ok..peace Pogue |

That said I think you can do better than the 805 if you look at the Reference 3a MM De Cappo.
The 802 is wonderful but again the price goes through the roof... Bass is better defined in the 802. Some big competition in ML, JM Labs, Reference 3a La Suprema...or Royal Master. http://www.reference3a.com/
Put on Patricia Barber's Cafe Blue...and you'll know why I like "High End" speakers like the 802 or the 804. That said, there are several competitors in this upper level of quality...as mentioned earlier...and dozens of others.
