Hello folks,
I am looking to complete my home theatre setup and so far I have the following components
Yamaha 5460 receiver
Paradigm Monitor 7 as main speakers
JVC DVD player

I am looking for adecent pair of surround speakers now. Not too expensive though. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks
Marshall

Why not go with a pair of the Mini Monitors? They cost a lot less than the Monitor ADP dipole surround speakers, and since the Minis use the same dome tweeter and 6 1/2" woofer that are in your Monitor 7s, you should get some very even voice matching all the way around. I generally don't like dipole surrounds for 5.1 sources, so I'm not even sure if you'll get better results with the ADPs anyway. Try the Mini Monitors out at your dealer with the Monitor 7s, and if the $350 price tag stretches your budget more than you'd like, see how well the lower priced Titan and Atom models match with your mains. Some of the other Paradigm Monitor owners on this board use those Performance series models as surrounds in their systems and think they work fine.

just bought monitor 3s and a cc370 a few hours ago to match my monitor 7s....cant wait to break them in......the adp dipoles were almost twice the price so i went with the 3s. i also have a small room so all that dipole sound reflecting crap would be hard to get set up well and unnecessary due to my small "sweet spot"...

good luck
