| Kirksaeter Silverline 60 | Relman Apr 2, 2002 8:34 PM | | Has anyone ever heard of the German speaker call Kirksaeter silverline 60? It is a bookshelf and priced at $700. I just stopped in to a store I had never frequent before looking for a CD player. I was just browsing around the store seeing what they handled when the salesman was auditioning a pair of these speakers to a customer. The sound really made me stop in my tracks and just listen to the music. There were several speakers placed fairly close to one another so I thought it had to be one of the larger towers speakers that was playing. I was really surprised when I found out it was the bookshelf speakers that were playing. I am thinking of getting these for my second system. I will have to go back and audition them again to see if it was just my first impression. Just looking to see if anybody heard of them. They are not reviewed on this web site. |

Anyway, they were very clear, a bit brighter than the Pardigm 100's I A/B'd them against but certainly very crisp. The set-up by the dealer was not conducive to making the speakers sound their best so my audition could have been better.
Nice looking speaker and you won't find these on every block :) |
