Can I use any other Amp that doesn't have the crossover that the SA-3 did?
Will the new Evolution A1 amp and X1 crossover work with the 2.9s?
Generally, how can a mono Amp drive two stereo speakers? What am I loosing here? |

Don't make this too complicated and give your budget.
In general, Harmon Kardon amps (Citation's in particular) work great with NHT as does B&K. I biamp my NHT VT1.2's with the Sherbourn 5/1500a if you can swing $1300, that would be very good as well.
Just look for a good 5 channel amp (using 4 channels) and biamp using the internal crossovers on the 2.9's. Maybe a used B&K AV5000 would do the trick. |
