| Rear Ported Speakers on Bookshelf | baby Apr 3, 2002 6:09 AM | | Hi,
Any way I can make Rear Ported speakers sound good on a bookshelf, or should I just give up and get Nonported or Front Ported speakers.
Thanks |

can you line a closed shelf with sound absorbing material to make a rear ported speaker sound decent in the closed shelf? |

You are better off using a front ported or sealed speaker. Another option could be to put the speakers on top of the book case/entertainment center and angle them towards the listening position. |
