Jul 30, 2002 10:15 PM | | I got them from my salesguy for $1200/pr. He won a sales competion or something from paradigm and i guess had the option of studio 100s as a prize. I bought them from him (not the store, i guess) new in unopenned boxes. (i even got to choose the finish). It pays to have a good relationship with your hifi store. The studio 100s were just an unobtainable dream for me until that fatefull day!! I am really happy with them, and for the price, i can't beat them |

People seem to like doing things like that, comparing two products in vastly different classes. Nobody would think of comparing a Subaru WRX to a Dodge Viper. Both are great cars in their respective leagues, but to compare them head-to-head is pointless.
If you have the money for the Studio's, buy them. They are fantastic speakers. I wish I could afford them! If not, by the Monitor 11's and be happy with them, as they are also a fantastic speaker. |
