|   Center Channel Placement issues ! Need Help. | ozzy01
Jul 29, 2002 4:11 PM | | I am looking at purchasing rear projection HDTV ready set. However the top where the center channel would rest is only 5 in. deep. My center channel Mirage OM-C2 is (24w X 12d)thus 7 in. would be hanging off the back. I cannot place speaker below display or mount on wall behind it(windows with shutters directly behind). Are there any accessories that lay on top of display and extend toward back with cushioned legs that rest on the sloping side of the rear projector ? I recall seeing something like this a couple years ago in a showroom. What are my alternatives ? Thanks for input. |

Jul 29, 2002 6:32 PM | | I'm looking at this same issue. The sales guy suggested I go to the hardware store and look for a rubber piece--like a door stopper or something. He was selling some gel like cushions but said that was a little overkill for my use. I only need about 1 1/2 inch rise on the back of mine. |
