Okay I know this sounds like a stupid question to most of you, but I just wondering about this for a while. My receiver runs at 8 ohms. I bought a new sub-woofer amplifier that runs at 250 watts at 8 ohms and 380 at 4 ohms. My question is, can I run this amp at 4 ohms when my receiver and other speakers are 8 ohms? Ofcourse I would be running it with a 4 ohm woofer. Thanks

Hello TheKonk!

As long as you're only running the sub with the sub amp, 'cause your subwoofer/sub amp combo is basically a seperate system.

Have 380 watts of fun! What brand is your sub & amp?

Pete
