Anyone have any extended listening experience with Gershman acoustics speakers? Curious if the reviews reflect real listener experience.

I liked the avantegaurde but did not listen all that long so....

I did give a good listen to the X1 and it is a terrific sounding monitor. Nice smooth top end and it has nice neutral sound. I think it goes for around $1600.00CDN and can probably be had for a fair bit less. Either way it's a terrific sounding speaker. It's a shame the CDN made companies Totem, Gershman and the De Capo(the only model built in Canada) don't have a bigger following.

They are beautiful looking and great sounding loudspeakers. He has the rosewood look pair of GAP 520X. They do need some power to sing though. I trust his judgement since he got me into audio back in 1967 when I was in a fresman in college. Many years later I still love it as a hobby. Hope this helps.BTW: He drove from Ohio to pick them up in Canada to save a some money as I recall.
