|I read about some Denmark E830LR speakers and their spec's looked pretty good. Has anyone ever heard of Denmark? Are they quality?
|Ever hear of "white van" speakers?||_Luke_|

|These are them. Don't bid. I've seen them on E-Bay and unfortunately, E-Bay seems to lend them some credibility.|

|And I am sure there will be more to follow. Avoid these speakers, at ALL costs! They are typically sold out of the back of white vans (hence the "white van" label) with the claim that they are worth thousands of dollars. They are in actuality, probably worth $100 for the pair, if not less than that.|

|Denmark is a country that makes very good speakers. Unfortunately, Denmark speakers aren't made there. You would have to check, it may even be illegal for them to be made there. They have a reputation to uphold...the country, not the brand.
Aren't they the ones sold in the beige vans? I can't keep them all straight anymore.

|They are junk. Look at the reviews here on consumerreview. I had some schmuck try to sell me these a few months ago out of a van. (it was green but color doesn't matter here) I asked the guy a few questions which he could not answer. I tried to explain to him that I owned both JM Labs and Dynaudio speakers but he never heard of them.
If you want speakers from Denmark, consider Dynaudio.
