If it is 2x4's on 16 inch centers with drywall interior and foamboard & vynl exterior I think you will be unhappy with the resultant wall flapping. If your house is solid stone, solid brick, or real log construction then you have a chance. But I would never have cut woofer holes in the (real) log chalet that we had 3 years ago. But that log chalet was as just as substantial as could be, and my Velodynes could play low and solidly in it.
Remember, too, that when you decide to sell your house your prospects may not be audiophiles who crave an in-wall woofer. I know, this is just about unbelieveable..... |
