|   JBL N38 to the S26 Speakers? placement, size? | garrityplus

I currently have the JBL N38 speakers with an Onkyo 80 watt AMP, A-8048-V. They sound wonderful when in a big open room. But the current room they are in is about 15' by 20' . The speakers are placed about 6 feet apart and are behind my computer by about 6 feet to create an equalaterial triangle. They do not sound as good when in a big room and listening from 15 feet away +. So I was thinking of getting smaller speakers like the JBL S26 and hoping for a better clarity and sound stage since my setup is in a smaller area.
If any of you can give me good sound advice, I would be most grateful.
