Sub to compliment JBL S-310's?maxximtl

Does anyone have suggestions on a sub to compliment a set of JBL S-310's? I am looking for something more musically oriented, vs. home theater. I see the HSU research subs always get good reviews, but is there anything else I should consider in the $700 or less price bracket?

$700 or less, there are plenty of options avail. There's HSU, Velodyne, Infinity, SVS, Cambridge Soundworks, Klipsch, Paradigm.

They all have good subs at $700 and under.

The HSU VTF-2 and the Adire Audio Rava are two very highly regarded subs under $500. Both are suppose to be musically tight and have the ability to play to loud SPL for home theater.

Hope I'm not too late. I also have the 310II's and I am using the Velodyne CHT-10 and I could not be happier. This is a very nice sounding (musically) sub. I got mine at reliableaudiovideo.com for $295. Circuit City sell it for $400. You don't need $700 worth the sub.
