Surround Sound speaker / Receiver problemSam
Feb 24, 2001 9:39 PM
I have recently experienced the following problem with my Harman Kardon AVR85 receiver

The speaker output from the left surround speaker is not matching the speaker output from the right surround speaker even though both the speakers are configured at the same output. (+ 6db). For some reason the output from the left surround speaker is way below.

I found this problem when I was using the test option provided by the receiver to configure the output of my speakers. I have already tested the speakers (by swapping them) and have confirmed that the problem is not with the speaker but seems to be with the receiver.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem with Harman Kardon receiver and if yes what is the best solution to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Sam
