Jul 16, 2001 6:10 PM | | I've got the 9BST THX and the 805s. As far as a preamp, I think you can hardly go wrong at this point. Short of doing some direct comparisons and listening tests to try and pull out the subtle differences, you'll probably find things like features, inputs, outputs, DSPs, or even appearance, etc. to be the deciding factor. Possibly how one performs in Home Theater vs. 2-channel might also sway you. Bring some CDs and DVDs, and go listen. (I went with Meridian, BTW). |
