Hi

I had mentioned in my earlier post that I was considering going for the Audio Analogue Puccini. I also have the option of going for the Puccini with the remote (not the Puccini SE remote). Is the Puccini Remote amp sonically better than the one without the remote? The price difference is about US$150. Is it worth the additional money?

Thanks.
I have not listened to the new ones but look here..Thomas A

The original design is a very good one, although the power output is not that big. The new "remote" versions are completely rebuilt, and for what I can see, the design is worse than the old ones. Distortion is higher and so on...

see

and the Puccini Remote section for some details and measurements (and comparisons with the old version). If you have the opportunity and can live without a remote, go for the original Puccini.
